The only builder who responded to me is danny nelson and i really appreciate that he did.
Says he is swamped and the earliest he could get me a car is august.
Stated that he was having alot of trouble getting tubing.
But god bless him at least he is busy. The guys with money appear to be spending it!!

Have had a few Danny Nelson cars. Great guy and his cars always worked good for me and alwasy paid for themselves. I even crashed tested one (not on purpose) totaly junked it up over a steel guard rail 20 feet in the air barrel woop t and end over end and landed out in the feild. That was on a Sunday. Monday called Danny ordered another one and had to repete myself alot cause only thing hurt on me was I bit my tongue and could not talk very well.

Sold both shorty cars, a trailer, a motorhome and just about every part that I list. Seems to be a real good market right now.

I have not had any issues selling stuff either. Both the dragster and the door car sold very quickly for asking. Have two engines to sell now and we shall see how that goes.

My son and I enjoyed the youtube video of top dragster. Steve and others: It seems like watching that video, that most leave with the tire wrinkled and hooked for about 3 feet and then the tire goes round and the rim is up on the tire so to speak. Is that generally how most are leaving in TD? Does it unhook to some extent after that initial 3 or so feet with some wheel speed?

From what I can tell new cars and trailers are way behind and hard to get. I checked on some trailers and they had very little in stock and most said 9 months or more for what I was wanting.

That may be helping used market some. Racingjunk is not as user friendly as it was, I do not like the new format.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

The steel industry is behind. We are looking at bar joists, girder and columns, for our warehouses, are way behind. Instead of 5-6 week delivery, we are being told 4-6 months, not to mention the huge price increase. The steel price for a 300,000 sq ft building is now, more than 20% more.

You have to put in the effort, to get anything out of it.

Been a real good mix of RJ and FB. Parts seem to move the fastest on FB.

I would say most good chassis builders doing new dragsters are booked months out. I placed a order in October for a car I’ll get in April. I also am wiring several new dragsters this winter from different builders, lead times seem to be 6 months.

A side note, I’m sure the stress/financial burden/space of having these cars sit at a shop partially paid for and missing parts (for months on some) really sucks!

My wife ordered furniture for the house weeks before Christmas. Shipping date estimate is now June. Siting wood shortages.

Steel prices are up about 20% in general and long wait times.
First time in 12 years we are back-logged at Trailer Toad about 2-3 weeks as we cannot get axles in reasonable time from Dexter Axle and sheets of 5/8" and 3/4" cold roll steel is about 7-9 weeks lead time. Crazy.

We threw out our living room furniture in September and THEN went shopping for new stuff. Just got it last week; 14-15 weeks.

Furniture store owner is a friend of mine and said he has orders from last June that are still unfulfilled.

I stand corrected we ordered beginning of November. I ordered a stand up freezer in July. No freezer yet. No sign of it.
