Hagan V Force
I wish someone would explain to me why the pros get so bent out of shape when someone double bulbs them. We all know it puts the starting line part in your hands. I would love to talk to Hagan about it and hear his thoughts.

Doesn't Hagan work for Force? I don't really follow fuel racing.

If Hagan would have had a conceited smile on the starting line when Force double bulbed him, a smirk, he would've won the race, and seen it as a compliment.

Instead, he got angry in the car on the starting line, and it cost him a close race.

Force put him on the clock.

He did work for John that pass! Hagen with Schumacher Racing. Amazed he let him get in his head.

The reason it's harder to stay at the top of the hill, than it is to get there, for most (repeat), is because most forget to remain offensive.

Hagan let the target on his back get to him on the starting line, and after the race in the interview.

Not good.

Hagan was .059 to forces .111, it was the best reaction time of the round. How did getting angry at the starting line cost him the round?

If what happened on the starting line didn't cost him the race, why would Hagan be ticked off after the race?

He's a young guy, 059 is pretty weak for a young guy. You'd have to look at the margin of victory and his average RT's, for an exact answer.

If Hagan was just ticked off after the race because he lost, he's really letting the target on his back get to him. That would be an even worse scenario, in the grand scheme of things.

The psychology surrounding the target on your back, is complex.

Why most fail to repeat.

Hagan is just new at it. He'll adjust I'm sure.

First off John Force should have Courtesy staged like everyone else. That was rather rude but not illegal and as I see it puts Force at more of a disadvantage than Hagen.

With that said if anyone double bulbs me then I take my time and stage very slow and careful. Use it to your advantage, let him sit there and simmer in his Sh!+.

It was not a big deal and Hagen should not get pissed. Seems like Tony Pedregon and some others were trying to make it a bigger deal than it is. Create some kind of big Drama.

Nothing to see here Folks, move along now.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
