Congrats Ed.

Was the vote transparent with a name attached to each vote?

This is the first I've heard about it, how'd they do it?

Was the vote on FB? Link?

How many people voted?

Congrats to Kyle!

However I’ll take Sugar Shane for 500 Alex. I’ve raced him at the Million, he’s tough as they come.

Ill take Jeremy York. Jeremy is in top 5 of money taken from the Flings, AND Columbus isnt far from home for the York family

I think Mike Barber should have made it in as well. I just think he is less known. There isn't anyone that is in that shouldn't be in my opinion.

I would have liked to see at least one west coast racer. There are also some bad ass racers out west. I personally think Kris Whitfield should have been in that group. If you look to see what he has done at the flings and other big money races he is always in the late rounds. Just my thoughts. Definitely going to be a good race.

Everybody can name someone they believe should be on the Fling Panel’s selected 12 but think about this, if this wasn’t Peter’s race, he’s on the list, now who of the 12 you going to cut? For those that didn’t make the Fling Panel’s selection, that’s where opinions and the 12 nominations and team members come into play.

Btw, the Fling Panel narrowed their selection down to 29 then to 12. Of the remaining 17 that did not make their cut, 5 made it in through voting/nomination.

I think what they should've done is complete transparency on the vote.

Live on FB with every vote attached to a verifiable name/ FB account / person.

I'd have voted Bunners son Trey, I think he's the best young gun local.

He's won a bunch 10k races and lost at 4 in the original Million driving his own car he drug to the track, and the car has a tiny 10" tire on it.

Ultimately it'll be a killer race nonetheless, anyone could win, including Trey were he in it.

Plus, imagine the attention and number of votes that could have been amassed during a week long live FB transparent vote!

If they can get 50,000 views for a promo video of a young driver on FB, imagine the number of votes and attention for a week long transparent vote on FB.

They could've also made it mandatory you're a drag racer, I'm sure Shirley Muldowney and Don Garlits would have cast a vote. Would've been cool to see who they voted for.

It's not quite West coast but Rayce Kidd is from Idaho and he got my vote. Should be an epic race and any one of those can win....

If this is supposed to be a list of current Allstar bracket racers, I would have replaced Bogacki with Labbous, Holloman, or Stephen McCrory. Bogacki is by far an AllStar NHRA guy, but I wouldn't say he's at the Elite level of bracket racing anymore. Luke would have been pick #1 in the fan vote anyway.
