Went to a CCR concert tonight. Boy...those guys are getting old.

Still had bass that shook the floor and could be felt through the chairs.

They had it dialed back from the early days. I did a couple level checks with the sound level meter on my phone and it was only 99 db average with a few 105 db peaks. Was 4 rows from the stage sitting right in front of some of the speaker cabinets.

I love CCR, was John Fogarty with the band?

I know there was bad blood between him and the rest of the group.

No, he was not with them. He is off doing his own thing. It was good but just not the same without him. The originals that were there are the bass guitarist and drummer.

Hope to catch one of John's shows this year.
In my opinion nobody has been able to duplicate Fogerty's sound or style.

Joe. CCR! Cool! My old race buddy Doug Cardoza was hanging with them in El Cerrito when they were known as the Golliwogs. They were figuring out the drums to Suzi Q then I believe. Doug was a street racer too. Had some fast Fords and a 55 Chevy. Doug always had great party’s with bands and full horn sections! Great memories.

That had to have been some great times. Those guys knew how to party back then.

Yup.

Rescued a 2 year old Golden Retreiver from a family with a man that was somewhat abusive to the dog. He was pretty skittish/scared of men for the first week with us, but has come around nicely.

That is a possibility for sure.

I haven't been to the Gators in 4 years, seems like my racing or life in general gets of in the way of that race every year........

Is there T/D at the Gators this year?

Yup.
