broke intake rocker , engine go BOOM ...hood scoop still orbiting the moon...

dang im so sorry to hear that.rocker have a lot of runs or something else involved?
that's weird because I ripped an intake rocker stand out of the head on a full pass and the motor did not implode.thought that happened only on the exhaust side?

its not a problem in a N/a or blown engine , but in a NOS engine when the intake rocker no longer opens the valve , all that nitrous and fuel thats suppose to get swallowed by that cylinder can't get in there so it backs up into the intake plenum until it fills it up , then it finally ignites , and BOOM ..unfortunately the cylinders next to the dead one try and use a lot of the extra thats coming back up into the plenum and it melts stuff in them, while the one with the broken intake rocker ends up fine ...
