"The Bender"Well, we just got our strong thunderstorm. Probably an inch of rain in a half hour or so, lots of lightning and was blowing 40-50 mph at one point, a few branches down and parking lot is flooded. Typical Florida afternoon in the summertime....

jenavetmr bender,
the kid almost got killed in her 2012 ford fusion last night,steering locked up going down the road.says power steering assist failure.
that usually some type of module? ford says no recall

"The Bender"That car has electric power steering assist. Most likely it lost power assist. Most common cause is the rack and pinion assembly.
Scan it for trouble codes.
