undacuva67PolyCore enclosed trailer sides
Does anyone have direct knowledge or experience with polycore instead of aluminum siding on enclosed trailers? Pros / cons ????

"The Bender"I just bought a new trailer a few weeks ago with Polycore siding.
So no long term report, but so far I think it's great, sides are very smooth, no wrinkles. When towing it at higher speeds the siding doesn't flutter like the thin aluminum does. I looked at a sheet of Polycore when I picked up the trailer at the factory, it looks like a great idea with .040 poly sandwiched between two sheets of .020 aluminum making it much stronger than even .040 aluminum siding. The only downside would be if the aluminum doesn't stay bonded to the poly. Time will tell.....

What brand name trailer? Are the seams screwed, riveted or glued?

"The Bender"Titanium cargo. Bought through Boss Cargo Trailers, highly recommend.
The ends of each panel are screwed, they call it semi-screwless

FootlooseThis is a good topic. I would like to possibly convert my Haulmark 24 ft. It was used for storage for many years but has hail damage that I don;t like. Wonder what it cost per sheet.

undacuva67the one i put my hands on is a Haulmark and it was a smooth side. a lot of the other manufacturers have screws and i am not a fan of screws on any siding and having to clean around them or them working their way loose and then the stripped out ones require a larger screw that will not match the original ones. semi screwless is a sales saying gimmick to me as there are still rows of screws where each panel meets but the panels are glued to studs in the middle. BENDER how big of a trailer did you buy? i am looking at 34 fters
