With the current DRR website being nearly 20 years old and the code it's written in, we've made the decision to do a complete revamp and are possibly looking at Bracket Talk also.

We know it needs to be be mobile friendly, so that's at the top of the list.

Is there really any benefit to updating/revamping the forum? Seems like drag racing forums are pretty much close to dead; all though Class Racer seems to be doing OK.

I lost all of mine last time and had to register again and start over. I think I was one of the first dozen or so to sign up when it originally started.

Thanks for the feedback guys. We're working on being able to transfer all the information on BT to a new forum platform as this provider no longer supports this and hasn't for about 5 years. It works but no new features or... And eventually I'm afraid they will sunset / extinct the platform and we will be in a quick bind that I'd like to avoid.

We will have a switch for either Dark or Light Mode! Also working on options to host photos / upload.

Agree easier download of pics be great. Keeping trash talkers off also. What ever you change to probably will not like. I will adapt but very few changes that I like. May be a old guy thing.LOL Also understand have to change with tech and target group.

could be a bad idea but a reddit style format where replies are grouped under the original post, making them easier to follow.

We have committed to moving forward with this huge undertaking of a process. It's really a platform change that will allow us to survive well into the future.

One of the original developers and good friend of mine who actually worked with Danny Sons at the beginning has put me in touch with a highly skilled developer that actually lives in the same town as me to do the new development.

We are on the same page with a new look, functions and similar functionality as to be as close to our current Bracket Talk for you the users as possible.

This guy is super talented and comes from a long history of IT development with "gold star" credentials! He is somewhat retired and is very excited to tackle this project as am I!
