I watched it,amazed at the discipline to drop when supposed to. Tough to do,he made it look easy.

The kid has great instincts and very proud to see him compete at this level at his age.

Eric that was heartbreaking to watch even the 2nd time!

Great driving.. Look out Dad, he just might put you on the trailer. You'll cringe when he wants to go TD racing....

Both Cory and his Dad are good racers and go a lot of rounds. They are also good people.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I can tell you for a fact, Cory isn’t done winning big races. That kid has real talent and a feel for making the right decisions at the right time. On top of all that, I can tell when I talk to him, he is his own biggest critic, which only drives him to be better. Makin the proper decisions based off of instinct wins more rounds than the old be 00 take 00 stuff because that just doesnt happen every lap no matter what some guys claim. The issue at the last HRP race also showed a lot of people that he has maturity beyond his years and a good head on his shoulders, and thats a credit to you and his mother. He has a great teacher, but you can only teach so much of bracket racing, at some point you have to have the talent to execute what you have been taught.

Awesome video Chris. Looks like he is going to be putting the hurt on lots of racers for a long time.

On another note you better replace that bump down button. He done wore that one out at about 2:40 in. He knew he missed it and made the right call.

Man, you guys make a proud dad even more proud...well except EP...ole EP had me smiling!

The kid knows when he missed it and its clear he knows where the bump down is! I cant hit it that fast that many times!

Torq, you need to miss it more often and then you'll get more practice with the bump down.

ep-I can get my bump down 17 times.....I have had lots of practice. remember Torq, practice makes perfect.

rule of thumb Torq...bump it til it leaves.

Got it, slam the bump down till the car throws me off of it...I should have known by now eh?

Didn't think of that

Btw, Cory let me know he was .006 after all those bumps! Taking .004 out each bump. He did not remember how many times he hit it...
