No free NHRA broadcast next year
Well Dragracer.tv was nice while it lasted. It was pretty cool that sponsors paid so we could watch the divisional races. NHRA saw another way go bring in some cash so next year it's gone.

I meant to post this a few days ago and got sidetracked.

Don Higgins Crew Chief Pro Software
Crew Chief Pro is one of those sponsors that advertised consistently with Dragracer TV. We did it as a test a few years ago and the response was so good we we decided to do all of them we could.

Warren did a great job, and we were happy to help. It is too bad that he had to stop.

Well know that I for one appreciated it. I haven’t been in need of your software but if that should change I will hit you up.

That really does suck, loved watching it when we were at the track racing (better than listening over the radio) and watching friends race when we’re not at the track. Where did you see that it’s going away, not heard anything about it.

I spoke directly with Warren yesterday, he called me. He told me NHRA has moved all Lucas races to NHRA.tv starting in 2021.

I really liked Dragracer TV. I would come back from a run and do my usual routine then go straight for my laptop to watch everyone run. What is NHRA going to charge us?

I Hate Dragsters
the divisional press release says the streaming service will be complimentary to anyone with a NHRA membership and you can stream on multiple devices.

We'll see how screwed up that goes! haha!

Well I guess I was wrong about free Divisional viewing. I just read this.

“ As part of the 70th anniversary of NHRA Drag Racing, the NHRA also plans to stream NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events on NHRA.TV. These events will be available complimentary with a NHRA membership, and each member will also be able to stream multiple devices simultaneously.”

Well that is good, I would like to see them contract Warren to do those races. He does a great job with the set up and running everything. If not I’m sure Warren will keep doing other races and I will keep turning into them :-)

Warren himself said that NHRA offered to bring him on, but he declined. He intends to continue providing free streaming of some races, yet to be determined.
