Only a matter of time. This place is sinking! There is not enough real estate for the immigrants coming in.. those are valuable votes. Pretty sure Scarth brought this up last year or before.
Looks like all of our racing will probably be in Vegas. This message has been edited. Last edited by: BP758,

Like it says in the last paragraph in the above article, it will take years for anything to happen. Got to remember, this is LA county Calif, just the environmental impact reports could take 10 years lol

If the massive Democratic population in New York and Chicago voted to open the borders, let them deal with the problems it brings, ship them to live in their neighborhoods. Sorry Bucky.
Back to the original topic:
I doubt the the LA County Fairplex Board is going to eliminate the drag strip, it's a large source of income for them twice a year. They understand that money talks!

Are you sure about that?
They're abolishing the energy which makes the entire infrastructure move by 2035.
I say they'll do whatever they're told to do. It should be apparent by now money/revenue on Main St. doesn't drive any of this madness.
Why should it though? When the men behind the curtain control the machine which creates it, out of thin air!!
They don't need events or production to create and distribute it, in any way they please. This should be apparent to all by now too. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Mike Rietow,

Comp plus posted a article rebutting the above article. NHRA says it has a contract with the Fair plex commission thru 2028. In the meeting that Mike mentioned the head of the board says they have no intention of eliminating the drag strip.....but isn't that what the Indians said about Firebird in Phoenix a few years ago when they bought it?
