You can definitely go rounds with a modern day muscle car, you just need to know how to tune them. All those things mentioned can be tuned out. My car stays at the same timing all through my run, all timing or fuel modifiers are zeroed out and the car is amazing consistent. Using my weather data and historical performance I can quite literally pull off the trailer and predict within .01 that first time run.
