Here is how it's going to start getting worse. I know this isn't the political section but it will effect us to the east. The thought process they have will cause racers problems everywhere.
I was talking to a driver that i did a service call for here. I think if i can remember what he stated what he pays monthly. Edgewater comes to mind. Like 2600.00 a month. that is CRAZY. He stated he was in the process of getting out of Dodge...

California is still seeing a net population gain, although it has slowed to record lows. This of course if legal population. Look for the illegal population to soar in coming months, they are already on the way. Eventually they will loose enough of their tax base that it will collapse, but who knows when that will happen. Seems the Northeast has an influx to Cali of late, taxes are lower politics are agreeable to them and the weather is way better. Have two buddies who recently left SoCal for "greener pastures" both of them sold their homes for large amounts to cash buyers from the northeast
As for Force unless he can find sponsorship I am sure he is done. As for NHRA they have already cancelled the Phoenix Nationla event and I am sure there will be more to come. Maybe the beginning of the end there....

I personally think Force himself is done and if the rumors are true of lost sponsorships last season and now this season with AAA we probably have seen the last of JFR for at least a while.

Peak made a Facebook post a couple days ago showing the Force hauler heading down the road. It was posted with no context, so who knows. It seemed to imply they were headed somewhere for testing.

With O'Biden revoking the Keystone pipe line permit on Wednesday gas and racing fuel prices will most likely rise significantly. Oh and the loss of 20,000 union workers. Yikes! Might not be to many of us racing even if they open the tracks up.
When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

Yes,and everyone of us that is lucky enough to possibly make a pass this year needs to enjoy it.
I can see the House,Senate, and President soon signing a bill that bans any car from being started that hurts global warming.
I doubt that most racer's cars will pass an emission test.

Someone voted for that bunch. At least I have made a pass this year. Thanks Rob Reanolds. Everything I hold dear is in jeopardy. I have race cars an guns and own oil an gas leases. Don’t look good.

If the the power mad freaks can't keep it under control, some heads are gonna roll.

I'm with you to a point...however, the Famoso Raceway has virtually no mention anywhere on their website about Auto Club anymore. No logos, no "Autoclub Famoso Raceway" title, none of it.
(the website address is still aaafamosoraceway.com).
Take all that as you may...

well I can't predict the future, if I could I would be in a different business for sure! With that said, last fall I started updated on the race car. Regardless of who wins or loses election, it is getting there-slowly. But will it have a place to play? Is the legality of playing in question? Dunno. Again I can't predict the future. I ain't spending a ton of money on it (as I simply don't have it to spend it) but I'm not changing anything as far as what I am doing with it.
