I tell ya what, this whole flat earth movement is about the dumbest crap I've heard in a long time. An old Marine Corps buddy and his son have bought into the theory hook, line, and sinker, and he's been trying to convince me it's true. I just don't get it, with all the proof, how can someone be so stupid as to actually believe that bs????? I've personally seen the curvature of the earth, and he's trying to tell me that it was distortion and was actually flat....WTF????? According to him, and from what I understand, the absolute "proof", is that Antartica doesn't really exist because they can't find any global mapping of it, and it's actually an ice "wall" around the edge of the earth......Not sure what drugs he's on but I tell ya, they must be good ones!!!! Also says because it's a no fly zone the govt is hiding the fact the earth is flat! It's a no fly zone because of navigational and temperature issues. Compasses will spin because of the magnetic south pole, and it's cold enough to actually freeze jet fuel. Plus no place to safely land in event of an emergency....but the earth is flat....GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!

I have watched some videos on their claims.....wow......no appreciation for how small we are and how big the earth is........that is a hell of a scam sending probes to Mars just to really reinforce the conspiracy. They have an anti moon theory to explain lunar eclipses.....that's my favorite. Or maybe the stars being 3100 miles up.
It's a cult.....they feel special because they feel they alone have the "truth".
Hope he snaps out of it.

More likely it is counter intelligence from official sources, same as Q anon. Anything that makes it to mainstream media, is the first clue.
You'd have to trace it back to who first uttered the idea.
