Warning this is not bracket racing related read at your risk.LOL
Talking with anohter /Fuel team this weekend and found out what a new ger for car cost. If paying for it myself it would be heart failure.

Next time you think your parts are high. Remember that a new 2.90 for A/Fuel is 20k. Yes for one ring and pinion.

Kind of goes with thread on perspective but did not want to derail that thread since while nobody here will be buying one. I thought interresting when thinking speed cost.

Number 1 question:
Where's the demand?

A/fuel is opnly thing tht runsd gear. all run same ratio. Yes think only one cpompmnay makes it. If ran 3.20 like top fuel would men more running that ratio. The agian they are even higher.

Same deal as lifters Jessel only one making 1.0625 Hemi lifter and they are 5k per set. Now the words top fuel also mean is has to cost more. s they say how fast you want to go only limited by how much money do you have.

Not a big deal. I just figured if Gleason made them that is part of why they cost so much. They make the best gears.
