I have been running the MT 32x16 102" roll out they weigh 42lbs. If I would switch to the 33x10.5W how much if any ET should I expect? I have some quick 16's that I run and sometimes a few hundredths would make the field. Would the smaller tire have a shorter life span than the big slick? I have 2 sets of wheels so could switch around easily. Car weighs 2450lbs, run a conv headed 632 1.65 low gear glide 4.86 rear gear. Car runs 5.0's @ 137 with this setup.

Well 75 views and no answers.

I will say that I don't think it will be much going to a lighter tire but a larger circumference. Unless someone had a set up really, really close to yours and has done this exact change then it is just a WAG at best.

Apparently this is not a popular change Smile I think the rollout would be about an inch more but I assume the 10.5 wouldn't grow as much being on a 15" wide wheel.

are you bracket racing or 10.5 racing? MT doesn't make the 32-16 anymore either...

Bracket racing, just need a few numbers occasionally to make the field for some local Q16 races.

MT started making the 30771 32x16 late last year again and now I see they have also started back up with the 3080 33x15 which was my original tire of choice.

There are alot of tires that were not made shortly after the Goodyear acquisition. Most all of them have been brought back now. I run a 3080.
