DRR Trophy |
Looking at a 2021 Winnebago with the Ford 7.3 Gas engine with the 6 speed trans. Want to know thoughts and opinions on this engine/trans combo. More interested in the reliability than anything else. Thanks

My neighbor and friend has a Winnie with that engine and loves it. We have gone to The New Years races at West Palm and Bradenton from NC and he towed his 26ft enclosed right with me at 65--70mph with no problem. He says it gets good gas mileage, what ever that means!

I have a Forest River RV a couple years now. Only has 10k miles, bought new. The 7.3 is impressive. I had heard from others it was major change from v10. I honestly was fine with v10 unit. I needed more space as 2nd runt of litter became baby horse. 27 to 33 feet means I get my own seat. Cannot compare milage as compact 27' class A to 33 class C. Power is impressive with or without open drag car trailer. Engine smooth, lot less downshifts.
