I don't think anything cools as well as water. Some RV antifreeze has alcohol in it, rough on water pump seals.

Straight water is best for cooling, adding antifreeze will actually inhibit cooling to a certain extent. How big is your radiator? Fan? Water pump? T-stat or no? What temp is it running at?

More info is needed as asked above. But, I found that using distilled water along with a product called "Water Wetter" helps.
