Do these splits seem about right? To me my car seems to have good 60' then lacks between 60' and 330', then runs strong again to the 660' compared to what others have posted and what calculators show.
1.080 60'
3.220 330'
5.00 660'
137.4
This was with a 22-25 mph headwind.

Best pass last year was
1.087
3.220
4.964
138.8

Wallace cacl with 1.08 60'
1.08
3.12
4.90
138.64 My 60 and mph match up but lacks in 60-330and total ET.

Put a 1.69 x 5.13 like I suggested eons ago, it'll pick up in the middle. Probably 60ft better too.

866 starting line ratio, to what you have now 878

I need to get that "Wallace Guy' to work on my pathetic 60's but from there on out his splits and mph are spot on. I start to catch up beyond the 60. More initial gear would probably help but I doubt that I could carry a 5.13 @ 1320 feet.

Doesn’t look to bad to me.
I am at 1.13 60’
3.30 330’
5.13 1/8 @ 135
My converter I believe is too loose so losing some there.

I'm planning to go 1.69 at next freshen up, but I'm crossing at 7450-7500 now. Don't think I could do a 5.13. 4.86 now 10% slip.

You need a converter that slips 5-6%. If you put a 1.69 with a 4.88, you'll be real unhappy. You put a 1.69 with a 5.13 and converter which slips 5,6,7%, you be saying to yourself, I should have done this a long time ago.

From this conversation I realize that have the wrong combination to be effective at 660 feet. I run a 4.29 gear with a 1.80 planetary (7.722) which seems ok for a 1/4 but obviously not great at 660 feet with 1.15 60's.

I am now evaluating the expense of changing to a 1.69 and a 5.13 since it's unlikely that I will ever have the opportunity to run a 1/4 mile again.

Getcha a spragless, Sonnax 1.69 and a 5.13.

Spragless- If you're anything like me, you'll win more than anyone thought was possible, set local track records and just about everyone will hate you, for making it look easy 13 Super Pro final rounds on 21 entries, nobody has ever come close.

Everyone said they were junk early 2000's. Now everyone is offering them. Try an original. It's what I run slipping 4-5% crossing 7400 rpm to show everyone I street raced with, how easy I could run a 5 with a street car on a 10-28 tire n/a sbc off the trailer, while nobody else can, or ever has, Same street car I street raced in the Tampa area & drove to work 30 years ago.

Damn Inferno, we're back to where we started with my suggestions 4 years ago. 1.69 x 5.13

6% 5.13 7700, don't want to twist it that hard every pass. From 4.86 to 4.56 no performance change 60', et or mph.

So the 4.86 wasn't the change that dipped the car in the 4's?

New engine? Tune? Shocks? Carb? Valve springs, cam, heads, intake? Did it? Confused

Back to back weeks 4.56 to 4.86 it ran identical times, better weather got it in the 4's. Think my new shocks and beadlocks are going to help but only been out once with them. It's still pulling 8* timing for 1 second but can probably put that back in now.
