Saw this posted on another site.It was an eye opener for me.The fans always seem to love watching it more than Pro Stock.I never knew they paid $1500 to enter and now no purse?
As long as they pay to race it won't change, NHRA will remain lazy with their hand out.
Like all the classes it's to kill downtown between nitro circus elimination rounds.
With PR anything can be made to look cool in the eyes of American couch potatoes.
How many dorks tuned in to see Bruce Jenner dressed as a woman?
That's PR.

Race for no money with NHRA? There's a simple solution, race with the PDRA, $400 entry, $7500 to win.
And have a much better experience, Pro Mods are the stars of the series and treated as such.

Agree with the PDRA move. Pro Mod is more interesting than Pro Stock for me, but they both have their allure.
I find Pro Mod more interesting because is has different engineering. Different styles, types of boost, etc. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Yellow Ticket,

And with the PDRA, boost cars and nitrous cars are separate classes.

It was interesting to see how many PS drivers tried to move in PM while it was funded. The money dries up and poof! Pretty sad cause its a way cool class! I don't see it getting any better any time soon.
