John Force Racing?

Say a past the other day saying that Ashley Force is now VP of operations at John Force Racing. No word on Robert Height?

Does anyone know what is really going on?

I would assume John has retired and Robert has moved up to CEO/President and Ashley is now VP....John hasn't looked well since the crash......IMHO of course

I do not know, Robert has not been around much at all. Even if he was sick I would think he would still be at the races, doing interviews and supporting team. Something does not sound right and I can not find the posting now where they said Ashley has taken over as VP so has it been deleted?

I don't know, but past events supports that John likes to keep ownership and finances within the family. So if Hight is out so is his influence. I'm sure John can manage business a bit longer if needed. It will be interesting to see where the empire goes.

I did not know Robert Hight divorced Forces daughter. That explains a lot.

Still I find it strange Robert is supposedly still there but you never see or hear from him. Did a search and it still says Adria is married to Robert but on Robert Hight it says he is divorced and re married.

It appears that Robert Hight is not coming back as a driver any time soon?

Looks like he was seperated from Forces oldest Daught years ago. She is the duaghter you don't see much. Report also says Ropert and John are very close friends and anytime he wants the ride it's his. At 55 my guess is Robert is ready to retire or just needed a good long break from racing.

Rumor I heard was Robert had throat cancer, but its just that a rumor. And yes Robert and Johns oldest daughter from his first marriage got divorced a few years back.
Regardless of his current situation if he want back in a FC they will have to find the funding, aint no way in hell Prock will lose that seat

With Brittney getting married it would not surprise me to see her follow her sisters foot steps and get pregnant and start a family.

Robert's daughter is running Super Comp and if she follows her aunts paths, she will probably move on to TD, if not A/FD in the coming years. John has made a point over the years of promoting new/young people and women, in the pursuit of sponsorships.

I saw Robert Height at the new track in Missouri last summer. He was watching his daughter race in Super Comp and seemed fine. He seemed to be always smiling.

I also agree that his daughter is getting very good at the sport, and I expect she will move forward to other classes soon.

My guess is the life of a pro driver wears on you after a decade or so but how would I know?

I always equated a Professional Drag Race Team the same as a Traveling Circus act. When you think about it, there's not a lot of difference. Constantly being on the road never appealed to me, I had a great job and a Family. By the end of a season you can see how much it wears on everyone on the Team. I have great respect for everyone who is a Professional Racer, and especially their Families.
