Back at ya B.P. Got lots of Honda's, Kawasaki's as well. See you in Pomona. You should visit the Mecum motorcycle auction in Vegas next month. 1,700 bikes. I go every year, selling 4 this year and maybe buy 1 or 2. Great place to see some neat motorcycles of every kind.

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

There is Rugby League and Rugby Union , two different sports. Sounds like you were watching Rugby Union , Rugby League far easier to follow. If you get a chance try to watch a Rugby League state of origin game ,it is a three game series mid year . These are the best games of league you will ever watch , they have the best players out to prove themselves for a nation jersey, the games are fast and the hits are big with no pads it's a proving ground for the best players.

I don't mind watching the last 5 minutes of most motorsports races. Frankly even NHRA doesn't hold my interest much longer than that anymore. A good college basketball game can be fun once in a great while. NBA isn't real interesting to watch and NFL has too many political activists for my liking. My son just started high school, and basketball is the right now sport. We usually hit the indoor track every couple weeks to get him a track work out and practice getting out of the blocks and over hurdles. Hurdles are probably about as much fun for me to watch as anything. Well and the 4x400 relay. Both were events I was in during high school, and events my son has gone to State in previously. I was a high jumper too, but I really don't enjoy watching that.

I don't really watch any professional drag racing on TV or pay attention to their results. I might watch the first couple races, when there is still snow on the ground and I'm getting antsy for the season to start. I pay attention to the Sportsman results all weekend, like a hawk. National or divisional.

I watch all the F1 races, lots of hockey. If I'm home, I'll turn on football but don't pay real close attention. We're a month away from Australian Open tennis, which is great because it is late night in the US when they play. I'll watch curling if it is on.

I rarely attend any professional sports in person.

I like watching my college football team and I try not to miss Supercross and professional motocross racing. Other than that it's purely drag racing.

What I enjoy watching most now is my Grandson play travel baseball. Nothing like seeing him smack a double, steal a base, or make a leaping catch of a of a screaming line drive at second then tag the bag for an unassisted double play! That's some good schitt right there now I'll tell ya!!!

By the way,
All them young men stand with hat in hand during the National Anthem...

I don't question the physical demands of motocross, but if we're talking energy expended, calories burned, it can't compare. The amount of energy expended, work, on a bicycle can be measure in watts. That effort can be sustained as much as 6 hours, or longer, per day for as long as 3 weeks (with maybe 2-3 rest days) through the Alps and Pyrenees mountains, for over 2000 miles. I don't think any motocross event(s) come close to those duration's or demands. But, I don't follow motocross that close so if I'm missing something please enlighten me.

Only sport I can stand to watch is cycling as well, even signed on for NBC Sports Gold this year so I can watch more of it with NO commercials. I have been road cycling since early 2012 (average 5k miles/year)and have been lucky enough to get to ride with a few local pros and even Peter Sagan twice. I doubt there is any more demanding sport or at least the training it requires. Worse part is the small collection of bicycles I've amassed cuts into my racing budget.

I had a long answer written out but in the end it's like a person's preference in music or clothing. It's just an opinion. I do give those guys you are talking about props for what they do.

Raising 3 boys, we watched and attended lots of MLB, NFL and college basketball games. Since Time Warner was sold and I now have Spectrum cable, they took away all the sports channels and want you to pay an additional fee for a package. Poor management of the Reds and Bengals teams have relegated them to last place in their divisions. Cincinnati now has a MLS team and the owner is building a stadium on his own dime. The other pro franchises here may be in trouble if this soccer club takes off.

I agree motocross is probably most physically demanding sport. It takes great balance, nerves of steel, shear strength, huge balls and is extremely tough on every part of the body.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

As I've gotten older, how much I watched pro football has decreased. I'll watch the Steelers if I'm home, but don't care if I miss. College football, especially this time of year, and earlier this month, where ESPN will air the small colleges, with the kids who play for the love of the game. Baseball has always been my favorite. I hate the lack of a salary cap, and how cheap Pirates management is, but I love the game.
