Mark it is ProFox 2pc. Yes it is heavier than some but lighter than others. I have worn Jeg’s brand, Simpson Elite, and ProFox. I can say the Simpson felt lighter but I can’t say it was any cooler and once I’m strapped in I don’t notice it anyway. I tend to err on being safer than required. Now with all that said I do use a Coolshirt brand cool vest in my car when it’s over 85deg so the heat doesn’t bother me as bad.
