I'm not fully up to speed on EV's, but it's well known that electric motors create a magnetic field. It's my understanding that current government grants have funded research that allows this "free" magnetic field to be utilized by the tire manufactures in their steel belts that will effectively eliminate tire slippage. More torque equals more magnetism equals increased adhesion. So the good news is not only will there not be any noise or nitro fumes, there won't be any tire smoke either. It will be rainbows and unicorns at national events.

| Metal in the track surface? I think NASCAR needs to think carefully about their customer base before making these suicidal moves.
