Built mine last year. I thought about hanging things on the wall so I went with 4'x8' white pegboard from 3' to 7' all the way around shop. Got me a ton of hangers and works great for hanging crap outta the way. Looking to A/C the place now and was going to get a split unit. But my A/C guy warned me that he has trouble getting parts for them if they do break. So may go with a package unit or a couple window units. Jason Compton

Window units for the win! Not nearly as efficient, but heck, you really don't need a window to stick them in. Pick some places that make sense and cut the wall. Obviously do some framing. Only "bad" thing about doing it this way is if they eventually die and you need to replace it. May want to make the opening a little bigger now so later on it won't be as much of an issue to change one out.

I built a 36' x 40' x 14' high 10' x 12.5' doors and my 37.5' MH just fits. I did a metal kit for the ceiling and 6' down and dry wall 8' It fills up fast... This message has been edited. Last edited by: Malaby Racing,

Very nice and if anyone else has pictures of their shop I would like to see them. Still looking for ideas before I start. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge. Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue. 4X NE2 CHAMPION. 2020 TDRA NE2 Champion

I agree with Mark comments 100% on the main door Our door is 14 X 14 actual opening. It is nice to have that wiggle room when backing in. We recently went from a dually and 48 LQ to a full size motorhome and tag, No matter how hard I try, it's difficult to back it in perfect, especially in the daytime when it's hard to see back in there.
