I was looking at getting some new lights for my brother's trailer. I want 12 volt led lights, but it seems most everyone I can find on line are using led rope lights. Has anyone added any interior lights to their trailer that has a recommendation?

I bought 4 4' led's for my trailer and man it is bright . I think I paid 140 bucks for all 4 from Sem's club.

I have three 8 foot that I attach to the tent once it is up for pits and more than enough light. Have one 3 foot dbl row I bought at Harbor Freight for 25 bucks that I use under car. I know asked about inside trailer, just threw others in incase you wanted to pick up few extra of different sizes. Hey love helping others spend money.LOL

12 volt?

My trailer has two 12v light circuits; I replaced the light in the gooseneck area with one of these in 2017, and it has been good:

I put LED 1156 bulbs into the stock fixtures the rest of the way back, but I might think about replacing with more of these fixtures for next season. Much brighter.

I used some of the strip lights from SuperbrightLeds.com in my old trailer they worked fantastic. I got a 50' roll and stuck in on the inside of the upper radius of my trailer. I added a converter to 110 and wired it all to a 3 way switch. This way I could feed by 12 volt or 110 through the converter. The converter basically stepped it down to 12 volts. Worked flawlessly and I would have zero hesitation doing it again. The only trick would be finding a good surface to stick the ropes to. My trailer was all aluminum and I stuck it to the inside of the upper radius at the top corner of the trailer down each side. Plenty of light and it was dimmable.

Sorry I did miss the 12v part,bad habbit skim reading. Guess I read like I talk and type jumping over parts. No there are 110v.

I have found bunch of 12v led interior lights for my panel truck that look good and fairly cheap.

I took out the florescent 110 lights and put double 12v LED lights in my trailer, 4 in the center and 4 down each side of the ceiling. Nice and bright in there now!
