Weather the police were right or wrong has no bearing on the overall thoughts here. Do police abuse their power at times, for the love of god, yes they do, at times. BUT the bigger issue here, is not the police officer(s) actions, but the open disregard and willingness, by duck, to wish DEATH upon anyone, let alone a public servant, OPENLY on a PUBLIC media platform is beyond wrong on every conceivable level humanly possible.

If you are angered by what transpired with the local police, I get it, WE ALL GET IT, voice your displeasure on whatever media outlet you see fit, vent your frustrations, hell, MAYBE be smart about it and take your grievances to the local city leaders and submit your complaint, with corroborating evidence (ie dash cam, or video recordings) of said transgressions and start the legal process properly. But for Christ sake, no matter how much you feel wronged by a complete stranger, you don't wish death upon these people.

If you want to voice YOUR displeasure with Mr. Long and his actions, maybe send him a message, email, DM, whatever, and voice your displeasure. Do it in as respectful a manner as possible, don't stoop to his level and wish death upon him. Also, Take the time to save the video that was posted and attach it to a respectfully written message to each and every one of the companies that sponsor and back his events. Explain to them that you, as a consumer of their products, don't agree with what was said and hope that they don't either. Mention to them you support their merchandise and will rethink any and all future purchases if they continue to support him. Hit people like him where it hurts, in their wallets.

It was a compliant and cowardly citizenry in Germany before second World War which allowed the national socialist Nazi Party to take control.

You have two kinds of man on earth today. The cowardly compliant types who'd serve the Nazi's well, staffing Hitlers death camps on command.

And you have the types who'd perceive the evil intent of the Nazi Party, and ignore, resist and fight the commands of the Nazi's.

Apparently the promoter perceived evil intent and reacted poorly under pressure by blowing a gasket.

Blowing a gasket beats bending over in order to get along, in my book. Would you rather a guy in a fox hole with ya, who'd bend over? Or a guy who'd fight back?

Did the promoter have a justifiable reason for perceiving evil intent? Go read the reports from eyewitnesses on FB, and decide for yourself. Rational thinking sponsors will, before coming to any preconceived notions. This is what rational thinking people do on a daily basis, believe it or not.

All this bending over is making me uncomfortable. We all have beef's now and then. Maybe it was totally legit. But be respectful. And if that doesn't work, not being respectful won't help. But we all go overboard at some time or another. It's a good idea at that point to own up to your mistake. Nobody is perfect. This isn't about nazi's . He should have been respectful. he wasn't. Time to move on. Like him or don't like him.

The petty dictators of the world today, depend upon on a cowardly compliant citizenry bending over for their sense of importance. This is what allows evil to take over.

You can't fault the promoter rationally, until you look at the Evidence , eyewitness reports from racers and spectators, in order to determine whether or not the promoter was justified in perceiving evil intent. Only at this point can you become impartial in your assessment of the circumstance.

The people in Nazi Germany ignored the Evidence too. This is what you're doing, along with anyone else not considering the Evidence.

This was Lights Out 11 , this means eleven years of correspondence. I'm sure the majority of it respectful, otherwise common sense says, tensions would have surfaced long ago.
