well it looks like Aaron had a big following here. 3 guys remember him while 494 still don't know who this guy was or why we should care but if we want to talk about former forum members that have past in the last 8 years, that ALL who were here then remember, that's Transman aka Steve Oldani

Both were kinda "founding fathers" on this site. irc Aaron liked to argue but did it without making an a$$ out of himself..Mike English and he were pretty tight because they both were race announcers..

I was a personal friend of Steve Oldani (Trans Man) and losing a friend was tough. Still have some of the Powerglide tips he scribbled down for me one night.
Memories are personal for everyone and not everyone responds or "counts views"..c'mon Ed, get over yourself a little bit at least.

I didn't know Aaron but he was one of the best announcers ever and how he remembered so many racers and the cars they drove is beyond me.
He was respectful to everybody until they began spouting socialist/communist gibberish and then the gloves came off!

TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!!!!

so he only respected those that agreed with his views. Now I understand why no one here knows who he is and why they don't care.

I agree!

I remember my husband was at a Division 2 TD race and Aaron knew of my husband history of racing.

It's simply an ego thing for Ed. He may be looking for another vacation from this site. After his posts about Aaron, he certainly has my vote.

Aaron forgot more about drag racing than Ed will ever know. Not only that, Aaron knew the who's who of drag racing and was well respected among both the racers and track owners. That's something Ed will never achieve.

Thank you for the message about this post as I’m not posting here these days.

To those who paid their respects to Aaron thank you very much

If it had been the anniversary of Trans Mans passing I would somebody would do the same for Steve.

To the idiot who thinks this is a popularity contest you are one sad human being that brags about his racing skills when we all know it’s your son

I have not got a problem with Ed posting on this thread, it show's who ED is when he is on the key board and I've read good stuff about Aaron Green the announcer . I hope everyone looks in to him if you didn't know before.

Anyone that followed or attended the DragRaceResults Racing Series in the early 2000's knows that Aaron was mine and Danny's announcer for several years and traveled all over the country with us. He was one of the most knowledgeable and entertaining announcers in the business! We had a lot of fun and entertaining trips with Aaron! He sure loved drag racing and everyone involved in the sport.

RIp Aaron. You deserve the respect shown from our member and not the crap I had to delete on a Monday morning after a holiday in which I haven't had internet or phone access for 4 days because of another a$$ wipe who decided to blow up his motorhome in Nashville Christmas morning.

Sorry to everyone as I just had very limited access. Every now and then my FB would load on my phone but couldn't even get to the DRR or BT website through it.

Carry on... SL

Well you cleaned up but you left the trash. If it’s clicks over common sense or what’s right then he wins. I’m out.
