The Russian backed conman realized how weak minded some people on the right are when he spewed out the birther conspiracy and they lapped it up like it was their last meal. And the right wing propaganda media kept feeding those weak minded people with lies and half truths.
The new press secretary said she would not lie then proceeded to lie through the rest of the briefing. She has some big shoes to fill to be like the other press secretaries. They lied most of the time.

Did you front of the tv Sunday night in your Chinese made maga gear (remember America First) to be gaslighted more by the liar n chief and Faux News (fake news)?
The White House put out guidelines for reopening a couple of weeks ago. They have apparently thrown them out the window because they aren't paying any attention to them. Pushing states to reopen and soon the numbers will shoot up even higher.
Dear leader (the wannabe dictator) along with right wing propaganda state media down played this virus and now there are 70,000 deaths in the last 6 weeks. New forcast is 135,000 deaths by August. You really trust your news source?

Guidelines with "guide" being important. Frankly, Trump has no authority to lock down or unlock states. That is UP TO THE STATES. Some are screwing it up all on their own. His opinion is that we should start easing restrictions and letting businesses start opening up safely, and according to the guidelines.
I certainly don't follow everything Trump says. He is wrong at times. And I will call it out. But the left and the media have been ridiculous.

Look, my stand is that the worst is behind us. Americans are smart enough to make their own choices while understanding the risks they face. Let them. It is their right. The government has no right to shut down private business indefinitely. It is unneeded and unfounded. And inappropriate. This is a slippery slope and everyone should be wary of what is going on. The justification for shutting everything down was to flatten the curve enough that our medical providers can keep up and more people don't die because of inability to care for them. Mission accomplished. Now the justification is creeping. Government needs to get out of the way.
