Because this county is full of people to far removed from the wars that were fought by the greatest generation, immigrants that came to this country with nothing, called it their home and gladly signed up to defend it and the American way of life with all they had!

Now we are a country of spineless citizens who are soft, spoiled and entitled, cohabitating with legal immigrants who largely don’t consider this their hone, rather home is the shythole they ran from and where they send the money they make here, back to and illegals who are here for all that America will give them for free.

A new generation of people who have no education or any idea how they got to where they are today. They were brain washed in School and College and now believe that gay pride, being gender confused, is the new norm.

My Dad came from a broken home and joined the Army at the age of 17. He fought in Africa, Germany, Japan and Italy. He earned himself 2 bronze stars and 2 purple hearts. Every single day he put up the American flag and take it down at night. He passed away in 2000 and if he knew what was going on in this Country right now, he would be rolling over in his grave.

The whole month of May is Military Appreciation month. I think it should be advertised much more and pride month much less.

I’m fortunate to have known both of my grandfathers, both of whom served in the navy in ww2. One of whom was in Pearl Harbor the day it was attacked. Two of the best men I’ve ever known. Can’t help but think of them on Memorial Day.

The definition of "gay" has changed since I was young. These are non persons and should be ignored and not even recognized as far as I am concerned----I didn't spend 4 years in the marines so our world would be like it is today. You like them you can have them

My teenage kids put 300 flags on veterans graves at memorial garden cemetery for memorial weekend. They walked the graveyard and the veterans were identified on the tombstones. If someone is wearing a veterans hat, all three kids, including my 11 year old will thank them for their service. Usually it surprises the veterans as they don’t get that from young kids very often. They may fuss with one another but they understand how to treat and respect veterans.

That respect, that honor, that gratefulness should be taught to every child in our school system from K-12 but instead our school system teaches our kids about gender identity and gay pride.
