There is no one restricting entries into markets at 25%, or anywhere else for that matter. From my point of view, this is financially driven. If you can make money you will be open, if you cant you will close and blame it on covid, so you can apply for government aid. For crap sakes, the race track is out in the middle of nowhere, not in an enclosed building. Jeff busted his butt to make the track compliant, if it was good enough for the big boys, it sure as heck was good enough for a small local race.

I’m sure Jeff worked his ass off to keep open but it was beyond his control. I’m not sure I get what you are saying?

Watching the Chile bowl sprint car race Live from Tulsa. Indoor race and looks like several thousand fans and racers all wearing masks. Tucson is only allowed 50 total people on 70 acres. Thats the difference between a republican run state and a demorat run state

442olds What you said "You are not sure who is going to be President next week". What the hell did that mean? Do you realize what you said. That's what one those rioters would say. Were you in DC on the 6th?. I was talking to Larry on the last statement. But since you come in make that remark Ill tell how I feel about what you said.

No,I was not in DC on the 6th.I have a job.
And I am of the opinion that Harris will take over as President Might be a few years, might be next week.
Getting back to the original post, that would not bode well for drag racing in the West.

Trying to get motivated to race this season. It's not going so well. Might have to consider traveling more and running some of the bigger money bracket stuff. Mad

BP, all im trying to say, if im making any sense at all, is that in my opinion the decisions that are made here are not pandemic related. like I said, Jeff did everything in his power and then some, and yes it was way beyond his power to keep it open. Also I am comparing it to bowling as that is what I am doing because we cant race. The bowling alleys are using 50% of the lanes, not 25%,with no restrictions to spectators. I was directing my statements toward the governing bodies that makes the rules.

I get it. Unfortunately I have lots of friends and some family that have had it. Some serious as in death and some not. I believe we can race safely if we really keep our distances. As for indoor events? All bets are off. I think it’s too risky and we’re confined besides heating and ventilation distribution. Just my opinion.
Hopefully soon we can get back in the seat or life in general.
Stay safe and healthy!

Whoever is the puppeteer of the Democratic party will determine how long Obiden will be in office. It won't be a Trump supported that does it. The Demorats eat (and kill) their young. Taking out an old man with mental issues won't even be a blip on their moral radar.

Saw and read that article yesterday. Looking at the map there looks like the long term use of WHP will not involve drag racing for sure. It does not mention dates other than the soccer club in May of this year. But surely not a bright future for racing in Phoenix which is becoming a HUGE metro area.

I saw this last night, 10 million square foot project in acres that’s over 229.5. That’s a huge undertaking considering.

The company managing this is called Sun Belt holdings, the article talks about a lot of stuff but fails to tell you it’s a 10 year . It’s a good time to start phase 1 as financing is cheap and the construction business is just starting to boom. In phase 1 the track will not be affected .
