I am trying to understand what the difference is between a mtx 48/h6 is and a mtx94/h7. Can these batteries be interchanged? the 94 h7 is in a later model car, however, the h6 is in an older unit with all the whistles and bells. As some would say-asking for a friend ?

You mean, what's the difference other than the cold cranking amp, cranking amps, reserve capacity, amp hours, and length?

Just trying to make sure if the H6 is exchanged to the H7 will it affect the electronics of the vehicle. From what I can read, the 94 is merely a longer life battery. My concern is the H6 vs the H7?

As long as it's a 12v battery, it's not going to affect anything unless it's capacity or cca is lower than what it's replacing. On newer vehicles, type of battery is an issue as well, if it has an agm, it needs to be replaced with an agm...vehicles with start/stop tech also need a specific type of battery.

So, 12v, same or better reserve capacity, same or better CCA, and of correct type and you'll be fine. Last thing to check is terminal orientation....it has to be the same or it may not fit in the car. Oh, almost forgot, group size needs to be the same as well, as some cars will not accept a battery any larger than the oem sized one....

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

If you think a presidential election is going to "eliminate the problem", you might be in for some disappointment. I hope I'm wrong but time will tell.
