A big thank you goes out from Pivotdoc, Dirtdobber and myself to Mr. Keith Winters and Mr. Mark Darsow for your hospitality in Las Vegas. You won’t meet any finer people in drag racing than these two guys, even if Mark did kick my butt third round.

It was great to meet you Mr. King and they were calling me John because that’s the name on my credit card that I used for my entry. I do go by Vern. If my truck was running instead of waiting to be fixed I’d try to go get your trailer for you since we’re driving back up there in a few weeks.

If there are some issues with it you probably better go yourself to make sure everything is correct.

I wish I had stayed to run the Fling, maybe I could luck out and win enough money to fix the truck! LOL
