Interesting. And all that over what sounds like a very minor injector placement issue. I wonder how much difference the placement makes. And for that matter injector timing. I have never really found much difference altering the timing of the shot on alky. I'm wondering if they want the fuel as high as possible to allow it to cool the air like a carb does basically. I think you're right. The higher the injector is, the more time the fuel has to cool before going down into the cylinder head. In the world of pro stock, where the cars are all but maxed out on major gains, 001 matters. Better question is how long will it be until they let the A/FX class become pro stock. Stock body panels on a pro stock chassis, and utilizing the new engines. That will get me watching again. | |||
