I'm here lurking every day. My stuff is still in winter storage, so not much to discuss yet.

The weather is finally decent, but now my daughter has dance competitions the next couple weekends.

I'm heading to Coastal Plains for the CCRA race. Only racing Saturday though. Gotta be at church Sunday for a thing with our granddaughter. Hoping to get there Friday for some TNT. I just found out Some of the racers have the track rented Friday afternoon for a private session. I'm hoping I can get in on that. If not, track is doing a TNT in the evening after the private session. I put another 40lbs base pressure in the clutch, and need to make sure I didn't go too far with it, or maybe left it too soft...

I raced the season opener at IRP Saturday, had a pretty good day, got beat by Luke Bogacki 4th round, my gas burner reacted to dew point, ran .02 off. (M.O.V. .011) and I was in an ambulance heading to the hospital about midnight. Eek

Bowel obstruction, symptoms presented the same as I experienced days before my bypass surgery. Confused
Couldn't take a chance that it wasn't a heart issue.
Just got home about two hours ago.

goob- getting old is not for pussies

goob2- OH YEAH!!!!! if you're offered a placement of a "NG Tube", run like hell!!!!! Eek Red Face

Dam Goob--I been hauled out of the track 2 times in the past but at 85 I guess I can drop dead anywhere. I am like a robot, hearing aids, glasses, false teeth, 1 stent, and 2 knees. Supposed to load up for farmington tomorrow but it is supposed to be HOT, we will see.

I did get home before the fun began.
Bad part was we left the race car and trailer there for the Sunday race, but friends all stepped up and helped my wife get things home.

Goob, Take care of yourself. I feel your pain. Stemi with 4 stents. Now dual chemical stress test coming. Yes heart problems with lung disease. Sure missing racing. Spring chicken only @ 70. Maybe someday they can figure out how to bring my O2 machine and stick it in the rack. LOL. Good Luck to you. Was thinking if i spectate at the nationals in Joliet. It's a pipe dream.

I have had daughter come drive the motor home back from FL once and Bristol once + lots of help from friends at the race track. So guess I am going, just got motor home filled with diesel now to get it all hooked up before it gets hot. You all keep hanging in there, its us old guys that keep this going. Mike would like that.

Not that anybody cares but I've just been working a lot and trying to get new car ready to race.
Been a long winter and I've had little time off to do other stuff....
