Festive 40k update:
Due to an extremely low pre entry # we had to make a decision to either cancel the Festive 40k event or alter the pay structure accordingly. We want to still host the event, but I believe in keeping racers updated of any changes asap. Currently there are just over 120 entries with paid pre entry. (We got a few last night after our live feed). We need 175 by Nov 10th to pay in order to make this race happen. Im not sure why the pre entry number is so low, but were hoping to get above the minimum 175 mark in order to give those supporting us a place to race this winter. You can go to dragracefl.com and pre enter for $395. If we can get get 175 pre entries by Nov 10th the pay structure will be as follows. All monies will remain 100% gauranteed except the winner. Winner each day will receive $25,000.00. If we reach 225 entries the winners portion will increase to 30k per day. At 250 entries we will pay 35k per day and at 275 we will pay 40k per day. These # are "break even" numbers for myself and Bradenton Motorsports Park. We believe in this race enough to move forward in the negative (it takes about 205-210 entries to break even paying 25k) but not financial suicide. I apologize that we need to make this call, and I take full responsibility. However if we can make it through this first year I truly believe this will be a "must attend" event for racers for years to come.
