Chris needs help.
Hopefully someone has already helped them but I thought I would post this here just in case. Saw this on Facebook just a while ago.

URGENT call out to any racer with a Toterhome near Tallahassee Florida I-10 near exit 260. Chris was involved in a accident (EVERYONE IS OK) but needs someone that can hook up to our trailer and tow it ASAP.

Hope some kind hearted person from the racing community came to the other guys aid too; it's obvious his level of need was very high...

Hate to see this kind of situation, it really sucks no matter who or what is at fault...

That really sucks but I am glad the damage was not too bad. I saw on Facebook where someone needed help but did not know it was you.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I hope he pulled the shaft out on the Toter. While your at it, look underneath at the rear and make sure there is no damage to the toter unless he raised the bags all the way up by disconnecting the level rod arm. Make sure they check the Air to Air cooler when it goes in.Manually perform an air test.

Drive shaft was pulled and air ride full. The fellow had no business on the highway with a 74 Ford F100 and a 26 foot camper during holiday traffic...

Bad day at best, glad no one was hurt and I hate that I hit the fellow!

Boucher had me laughing as usual...

First Chris I'm glad everyone is okay. I hope this doesn't end up costing you too much or any at all other than time lost. I bet that wasn't fun at all.

On another note I just raised my car insurance so I can cover something like this if I ever happen to screw up and hurt someones stuff. Too many don't carry near enough in today's times. Heck if I hit a new dually it could be $80,000 or more.

Would a grill guard have helped prevent the front end damage?

Consider purchasing an umbrella policy. These generally require you to have higher minimums for the policys it covers.

If I had one my rig I would have sustained ZERO damage! My birthday is this month...getting one! BIG NASTY ONE!

I DO in fact have the umbrella policy as well.

They do help immensely with frontal impacts. I have gone out on calls especially at night, where as the driver has run over a large fresh road kill laying in the lane and ran over it. One case in particular, Broke the oil pan. I had the fine job of removing the large carcass from around the front axle. The real ones you have to watch for are the tire gators laying in the lane. Frontal guards only do so much. The lower the guard the better.Real glad nobody got hurt.
