Last podcast on "CDL/Towing" was packed with great info that any racer should listen to, big or small rig. I was once stop in Arizona by DOT officer with my open trailer and dually rig , he just wanted a closer look at the race car.... LOL But it was a great chance to talk about my junk, so that I knew what was right or wrong if stopped. One was the quality of tie downs and if they seemed in good condition ..... I listened to the podcast last night and thought it was very good. The rules will vary state to state, and trooper to trooper. All on the podcast had some experience and have done some sort of homework as well. I currently have a class A non commercial CDL which in the state of Texas basically says I can drive any combined weight rig (non-commercial) of up to 80,000 lbs. I have been pulled over 3 times in the last 2 years and after obtaining the Class A non commercial CDL license, I get hassled much less and let go without incident unless I am on the Pennsylvania turnpike with a 88 foot 10 inch long rig according to them... Great show full of information we call can use at one time or another. Look forward to listening in more podcasts.

Episode 62 is up! The guys make their 2018 NHRA Pick's! National Dragster Senior Editor Kevin McKenna joins Luke and Big Jed this week as they perform their annual NHRA Championship Draft. A year ago, Luke smoked Big Jed in the competition: and as a result, Jed’s “Big Red” Nova will feature a custom decal throughout 2018 to make sure everyone knows it! This year, Kevin, who helped the duo with their picks last season, got in on the action and picked a team of his own. The trio each selected three drivers in each of the NHRA sportsman categories as their own “Dream Team” of sorts. The show is a bit NHRA heavy this week, as Luke & Jed also discuss the advent of an 1/8th mile NHRA Division Series in the Southeast Division, and the addition of Virginia Motorsports Park to the NHRA National Event Schedule. Luke closes this week’s show with a “Final Thought” on the future of bracket racing. iTunes Libsyn Feed

On this week’s episode, Luke & Jed sit down for a lengthy interview with reigning NHRA Top Dragster World Champion Lynn Ellison. Within that segment, Lynn recaps his amazing 2017 season, talks about the opportunity to compete alongside his daughter Madison, and what it’s like to bracket race at well over 200 mph. In addition, the guys rehash their NHRA picks from last episode in preparation for the NHRA season opener in Pomona. The episode closes with an appearance from newly minted Sportsman Drag Racing Podcast correspondent, JJ Pennington! Read more at http://sportsmandragracingpodc...#Jh74MbgfMJcEKB9u.99

Looking over the list of the 100 or so recipients of top bottom bulbers. How could everyone miss one of the best, old 1320 and his top notch equipment. I’m speechless. https://m.facebook.com/story.p...4&id=211913509249726 Chris Walters

I found myself laughing out loud a few times. We have the "converter guy" the "I don't understand math guy" and the explanations were spot on!! Oh the "perfect car guy" is also nearby lurking. Someone on this site is the last guy you mentioned in the previous episode where if you don't own the stuff on his car then its all junk..... great show guys Ryan Fasano 2014 Byron Overall Track Champion Byron's actual elevation is 730' because that matters more than winning anything ever....

In this episode, Luke & Jed get “Dialed In” with Zach Schlumpf, co-host of a new racing podcast titled “Dialed In with Jake & Zach.” In addition, they recapped a fairly light weekend of racing action highlighted by a pair of NHRA divisional events, and previewed a big weekend of bracket finals action on the horizon. Jed, Luke and Producer Mark also weighed in with memories from September 11, seventeen years later.

Luke and Jed discuss SFG’s stance on Excessive Braking, along with a seemingly bizarre ruling from NHRA. Plus, Million Dollar Race Promoter Randy Folk joined the show to clarify some of the details of this year’s Million and to provide his unique perspective on the decisions he was faced with at the event; both this season and in years past. Plus: BTE Who’s Hot, event results from across the country, nerdy NHRA championship breakdowns, and of course, shoutouts for days!

I try to keep this updated and at the top, but have slipped a bit. This week we published another installment of our champion interview series. Kyla Feit, 14 year old from Wisconsin, won the 2018 Summit Super Series World Championship in the Jr. Dragster category. She tells her story very well, and it is absolutely worth a listen. At the top of the screen, you will also find a widget that allows you to listen right here on DRR. Episode 108This message has been edited. Last edited by: Sportsman Drag Racing Podcast,
