Looks like Larry Dixon has had enough of NHRA pushing him around:

I say good for him. NHRA could have worked this out with him but instead they opened the door for others to capitalize from his idea.

NHRA has alienated Larry and many others over the last 5 years or so. After how I personally have been treated and seen several incidence of others being treated poorly I will never compete in an NHRA event again, it's already been 3 years since I have.

The final straw for me was at the Gatornationals when they sent TD's down a wet track. Both cars in the first pair crashed independently of each other on the top end with visible water spray off the tires. That is 100% unacceptable and unexcusable. If NHRA was my only choice, I would quit. Thankfully I have the option of running with a different sanctioning organization that is responsive to the sportsman racer that I compete in.

Wally Parks must be turning over in his grave.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out, but I am sure we will never know the outcome, except for the fact that LD will never ever race a NHRA event again

Not a damn thing, two racers lost their cars but luckily didn't get hurt.

NHRA has been forced to buy more than one racer a new car over the years but most don't want to take them to court to get them to do what's right.

There is a clause in the rule book. You ever bring suit against NHRA, you never race there again.

You have to put in the effort, to get anything out of it.

Imagine if an employer tried to do that. Just add it to the list of reasons to love the NHRA.

If the court finds for Larry Dixon and Dixon what's to race at a nhra venue then nhra will have to let Larry race. Maybe Larry might not want to race. We will see how this sad law suit comes out. Hope they bury the hatchet and let Larry race. My 2 cents

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

Don't you need a current NHRA TD/Adv ET license to race in the PDRA? Thought they followed NHRA rules

When you stage you take responsibility that the track is safe. I've seen it in court and its a tough one to beat.
