Tulsa Next National Event Venue?
There is a TBA in the 2021 schedule, could Tulsa be the TBA?

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

It is a nice facility and I enjoy racing there but It would have to be a really scaled down event. There is no way they could fit all the race rigs in and also park spectators. They would also need to fix the ski jump bump around 1000 feet in both lanes.

I just can't see Todd Martin and Keith Haney putting that kind of money for the needed upgrades to be a National event level track, the ROI just isn't there IMO

Need a 4 wheel drive in the staging lanes. More than likely not going back and for sure not in June!

Cmon Vern, there is a few rough spots that need some attention but it isn't that bad. The Motorplex is way worse plus IMO you have to park in the dirt/rocks. At least with Tulsa they have nice grass all along the return road

Tulsa will need a LARGE amount of upgrades to even be a consideration. Won't be a worry for me in reality...

VERN was dead on!

There is a rumor that this is just a rumor.

I say the rumor has it.

There are National events run at some old tracks that probably aren't as good as Tulsa. That said it's just a rumor and we would need a lot more asphalt for the pros. Where Dragzine came up with this, who knows?

The land is owned by a company who could put down the asphalt though. LOL
