Probably because it is giving you and average acceleration over a given distance not the actual MPH.

John Spar was the B&M guy and he did go 200.
Ross Laris went 214 in SC with his ProCharger car 3-4 years ago.
To your second question, mph loss depends a lot on how you run the stop. I’ve never run my car wide open on the long track but I went 184 yesterday and I think that’s about all it has. I have run it wide open to the 1/8 and went 148, and I was 147 to the 1/8 on the stop yesterday.

John Spar made the 200 mph pass. It was at Silver Dollar raceway GA. Very nice person. Was fun to see. I also am a big fan of B&M parts.
