Kingman Street Drags 2023, this is a neat & fun deal that has history. I attended one of the 1st races, might have been the inaugural one & won. Dan, screen name double trouble would probably know. I think I still have the trophy with the date. This was with our 80 Camaro, thinking about entering it again with the Camaro & maybe our drag quad. The quad really hurts some fragile egos, when it races. Wink

Anyway, check it out below:

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I'm still debating on running this race. I need a diaper & that's no big deal, planned on getting one during the off season anyway. Then I need to buy a DOT legal drag tire, don't really want to buy tires for one race. Plus, I need to slow my racing a little to focus on the B-Car.

It's a very fun race!

The race is scheduled for May 19-21 on an Eighth mile track set up on Historic Route 66. There will be a timing system, concrete guard walls all the way to the turnoff, Grandstands for 5,000 and vendors/displays.
I'd like to be there but most likely be in Joliet working at another race, at the other Route 66 Raceway.

I'm not in a bad mood, I just look that way.........
