With this being the final season at Immokalee Regional Raceway due to the closure of the facility (airport taking back over), this will be your final opportunity to race at this "historic race track". Some great races coming up. Appreciate the opportunity to make their flyers over the years. Check them out!

I will be in Florida for the winter. Had a great season up North, if you have a solid car but struggle getting win lights, how about we "partner up". I made 267 runs this season alone. R/U in a $11K, won S/Pro twice, won the Triple 777s, R/U the Terry Stumpf Memorial in the S10 but cannot tow it to FL.
Driving good last 3 years, interested in a rental, a percentage, whatever.
Thanks!!

The Immokalee Winter Warm Up will be an excellent event (watched it last yr) and wish I was closer (1500 mi).

I am looking for someone willing to sell me an entry to the sold out Mini Million at Gainesville in November. I will double what you paid (pay $200) for your entry. If you know someone selling please PM me their information. I am on the Mini Million waiting list to see if I can get an entry but I don’t think it looks good. Help an Old guy out that wants to get in this race!!

Mark,
Think they will actually turn cars away? I thought Randy wanted more cars for all events!! LOL!!
Be difficult to believe another 50-100 cars would add a round. What are they setting as the limit?

425 Box and 42 No Box, total 467, so the next round added would come at 513 entries. So 100 cars would add a round.

425 entries not to include the re-entry rd is 10 rds of racing. The no-box doesn’t affect the total race rds as only the winner of no-box joins the split round. I like this capped format and hoping I can get an entry into this race but looks doubtful as of now. I think there’s a substantial amount of double entries in this race.

As Mark said, you forgot Re-Entry and how No-Box is run. It's already a 10 round race. With 42 entries, the No-Box winner will go into Round 7. With an 87% Re-Entry rate, it would take 670 Box entries to make the race go 11 rounds.

It's always ironic to me that capped races draw MORE CARS than the overwhelming majority of events that DON'T have a cap. On top of that, I hear more people all the time saying they hate pre-entry races. ...yet here we are.

Those that complain about a promoter having $100 of their money in advance for a capped race should just not enter, problem solved.

Here’s a recent example of a race event that was not capped. The 2024 Million in St Louis. On $20k Tuesday was 618 entries. $50k Wednesday was 729 entries. $100k Thursday / Sunday combined was 740 entries. The Saturday Million 436 entries. I believe the buy backs were removed in two of the races, but could be wrong. I didn’t attend because I felt the entries would be in excess of 500, was right and I’ve been through races like this… no thanks. Low 400’s maximum entries is more doable, allows for a buyback and more to my liking.

The Million is not even CLOSE to a typical race, and everyone knows that.

The recent GA USA 500k capped at 385 and % of overselling with two different pre-entry programs, both capped. This isn't a “typical race".... or is it?

The Master Schedule lists over 300 big money bracket events. How many do you think draw over 350 entries?

Define where big money starts with a $ amount…… $2k, $5k, $10k, 20K ? Either way you would know best and the % results to you question is probably very few.
