I've known Robert a long time. From the Spartanburg Dragway days and through the 80's and 90's with IHRA. His was a difficult job, but he always seemed to do what was fair and honest. He didn't make everyone happy, but that wasn't really his job. I admired and respected him for what he did for drag racing. Godspeed sir.
