I’m running out of time and plan on more of the same for 2025. All the bracket events at my home track and more money events at several other tracks. One or possibly two long hauls to the East coast and /or FL.

I’m praying my engine stays together long enough to get my spare engine rebuild finished assembled next summer. Rear shocks need replacing and want to change the rear gear ratio again.

I want a new trailer and looking now as this will be the last one.

I’m busy wearing out a snow shovel for the next three months in the upper Midwest and nothing gets done race wise in an unheated garage.

Starting or restarting Air Bakance company. Only resolution is to get it up and running.

Use to make dang good money at it and way better than GC crap has done. Going to put most of time into that.

I have bought another 7 acres of land that needs a lot of work. It is rocky clay and I need to plow it up, remove rocks, add in some organic material, till it up, level it out and then hydro mulch everything. Clearing trees, picking up rocks, plowing and planting to get it productive and nice looking. Then planting some good trees and want to do that as soon as possible so they can start growing. Then may build a fishing pond. Plus still have some work to do to finish my house. Have 2 -SB2 motors to build and one 565 BBC Blower motor, Still have a few things left to do on Chevy 11 Street car and almost done with my Bracket Camaro. I may be able to sit down and take a break on November 20, 2015 if everything goes well.....
Toter Home and trailer are almost finished.

After I get my SB2 motor done if it does as it is supposed to on Dyno then I have to rip out all ignition wiring and change over to Mega Squirt deal, move radiator, make and move fuel cell and battery and add Nitrous Oxide.

No rest for the wicked this year. Maybe next year. I hope.

I am making steady progress with the square 10 build. It is expected to be race-ready later this year.
The bigger news is that I have sold my home of 44 years and am moving to the home of my partner, buddy, friend, and significant other, Sandra.

We are beginning a new life with lots of fun and interesting adventures. She also likes cars and racing and will be my partner and helper as we start racing the square 10.

Plus, we are building a new hobby/race shop! Life is good.

Sold my dragster to SR4440, so working on getting my Avenger back together. (maybe 80% finished)
Hopeful to get my spare Indy block and heads back from Houston Engine and Balancing, sooner rather than later.
Make races with my racing buddies this year.

My plan is to start in Vegas for the Fling and the Million, then run the LODRS race two weeks later. Once home I`m planning on a few events at my "local" track a couple hundred miles away. Spent most of 2024 getting things ready to travel more than 10 miles to race in the future and my health.

Similar to last year, mine is just to get out and race again. Plans didn't work in my favor in 2024, so it's all on 2025 now. Moving into the new to us house, with the garage I really need will be a big help. Driveway under canopies hasn't worked well with the weather, LOL.

Let me see here.....

- lose some weight...overall I need this, not just for racing...

- add a data recorder to the car so I can get the converter sorted out

- going to test a little more and race the full season in the points

-help my daughter get her car dialed in and get her licensed

-spend more time in the outdoors when I'm not racing

-looking to possibly buy some remote land here in Alaska as a getaway/off grid site....found 14.7 acres and will be talking more to owner after the first of the year.....

I don't do resolutions.

2024 was my worst year for competing at the Spring Fling Million. While I haven't taken a hard look at what I did well with or where I sucked; I'm sure the latter dominated. Regardless, I should have taken that look long ago. I need a plan to strengthen my weaknesses & fine tune my strengths. Then put the plan to work at our points races leading up to the April Spring Fling. Most of it for me is the mental side of the race & not so much the car set-up or strategy.

I have also taken on our something different drag quad again. It was something that was passed on to my boys about ten years ago. Well, it's back with me. I'm re-configuring it from 1/4-mile racing to primarily 1/8-mile racing. We may even do some 300' sand/dirt drags again. I just want it to be used. There's a good amount of money tied up in it to be collecting dust.

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.
