Regardless of whether a National or Divisional is harder to win,you have to win a National to get a "Wally".

Oh,I know you get a "Wally " for a Divisional win,but I don't really consider them a true "Wally".

The size difference is quite significant when sitting next to each other.

Is that where the expression "SIZE MATTERS" comes from?

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

They are smaller for divisionals, but after this thread, they are at the very least equally hard to obtain. I absolutely consider them Wallys. I'll put an asterisk next to a national open 1/8th mile race, sure, but not a divisional.

I’ll take a divisional win any day, but it’s not comparable.

Never has my phone/Facebook blown up like it did after winning a national. Everybody pays attention to those.

@lenny

Very true, I would say national event recognition is way bigger/better than a divisional win. It's the personal satisfaction for me though, they both count in my book. That said, I'm still hunting my first of each, so my opinion is subject to change.

A Wally is a Wally no matter the size. Some people do this for 20+ years and never get a little one. I'm proud of my small collection. I am more proud of my Big Wally though. I may need to paint his hair grey as he getting old.
