Taylor makes a nice one that is custom fit to your motor. Goes up around the pan and fits snug.

Mike,

Gaylin at XRP says they will have a diaper rule for 6.50 and quicker and anything running a slick or drag radial starting Jan 1 2022.

With the grudge crowd they get it will be interesting to see if they enforce it or how long it lasts when they start turning cars away in the staging lanes and losing money.

I think the correct way is if it runs 11.49 needing a roll bar or quicker it needs a diaper some cars that run drag radials or slicks run slower than that, but that's just my take on it.

If you scroll through that drag racing deaths website there is a huge number of deaths attributed to engines blowing and oil getting under tires...but alot of them say then hit the guardrail which is a whole nother issue in itself!!

Very true. Like I have said before I think the Diaper is one of most important safety devices on your whole car. And they are really cheap.

HAve pan that is 3 inch minimum all the way around and full coverage of side of black where it will allow. Run 4 to 5 pads in it. Been tolkd not a problem.

While I rather not have hassle of diaper and related heat retention of it. I guess if no choice I would get one. Diaper my retain everything little better if rod breaks and kicks side out of block and may take the hit from rod better . Then I can break most anything made, hell already have most of them covered.LMAO

I do not think anyone NHRA or IHRA cares if it is a good pan or Diaper just something to contain most of the liquids long enough to get slowed and off to side of track.

When I said "Diapers" I really meant some kind of "Oil Retention device" For most of use a Diaper is probably cheaper and easier to do.

You use which ever one you want just make sure you got something.
