With this they have the capability to shut you down while speeding, running red lights, not paying taxes, emissions, tags expired, or even who you voted for.

It’s what I’ve been saying all along. The technology is already there. This is just the surface.
Fuel Crew Chiefs stand behind cars now with a kill box. Saving drivers, parts and cars. It could be a tool for law enforcement but where do we draw the line. It could stop a lot of chases and lives and I get that but…… If you don’t pay registration or whatever then click ! No car !

Haven't they had this ability with OnStar for years? They can unlock your car. You can start it and stop it with the app.
What I want to know is how to unplug from the satellites. If the stuff goes down, I would prefer that they didn't have the ability to disable rural transportation.

I believe you are correct about OnStar but many actually wanted that ability. I think this is a little different in that had someone not brought it to light it would have been slid in without our knowledge.

I don't even like the fact that the courts can get the data from the car if you are in a wreck and use it against you.

It kills me the people who get the tracking app for their insurance company. To the insurance companies I say, I pay my money and you take your chances. At least until I have no other choices.

It's simply "progress". A precursor to social credit scores and the digital dollar. I didn't like OnStar when it came out and still don't. Again, an introductory offer to what we're looking at now. AI and the new world order will not be denied.
