Which one is best. I know Honda is better but 200% more expensive. Just looking for known information for people that own each or have had both.

A friend of mine bought the PREDATOR 3500 Watt Super Quiet Inverter Generator and has been very happy with it. It is almost a quiet as my Yamaha 6300 and much lighter. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Actually going to pick up a predator tonight while they are on sale. Have a few friends that have several hours on them and so far so good.

I have a 24 year old 3000 Honda that still doesn't miss a beat but i can buy 3 predators for the cost of a new one of those so i am gonna take the gamble and just leave the Honda in the back of the truck just in case.

I have the Powerhorse 7000 mounted to the tongue of my trailer. Its noisy and runs at high rpm's all the time, but hasn't let me down in 6 years.
I run a/c and lights all the time at the track. Microwave, charger and air compressor as needed.

i have had a predator 4500 for the past 4 years and have had no issues. It runs great and cranks on the 1st or 2nd pull every time. Only thing I have done to the generator maintenance wise is put gas in it and it runs like a champ.

Are we talking inverter type? I've had great success with a Champion. They give great customer service.

I am talking Inverter type not standard gas. I have a Honda 6500 gas regular generator and it is just too loud for me (had an Onan in the MH and an inverter for the trailer).

If you are looking for inverter style then I would definitely buy the Champions. Mine have been great and really quiet.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Ive had a honda for years with no issues. My daughter acquired a Smarter generator from her father in law and passed it down to me. I know Honda says dont parallel different makes of generators but I opened them both up and the gen side is the same, just the smarter runs kawasaki power instead of honda power. I found out which is the field connection and the armature conection and hooked up my parallel wires to them and it puts out a steady 4k power at 20 amps. The price on the Smarter is about 300 cheaper than the honda. Just my two cents worth.

Looking at Yamaha 6300. My 3000 Honda will run my trailer Ac but when it cycles it overloads the unit. Nice gen set but not enough.

I have a predator, but I don't trust it so I have 2, one to back it up, Honda is the best if you have unlimited funds.

Why the lack of trust?
