I always thought the staging line burndown was something unique to drag racing.
Apparently not.

I was not aware of the incidences of the MLB "National Anthem Standoff".
They had one recently.

Search that out and check out some of the stories.
It's friggen hilarious, in my opinion, and a very cool tradition.

Huge Baseball fan here. I absolutely love the national anthem stand-offs in baseball, especially when the commentators get in on it. They are always hilarious!

Same. My favorite college softball team has done it a few times too and it's always funny.
